# delete\_catalog\_item

Soft-delete a catalog item by seq\_id: it leaves the showcase, storefront and listings and can no longer be bought; existing orders keep their own item snapshot. Repeating it returns deleted:true. Undo with publish\_entity intent RESTORE. To only pause sales, patch \`is\_active:false\` instead.
