# get\_bot\_profile

Read the public profile of the business's own Telegram bot as users see it: \`name\`, \`about\` (the short line in the bot profile) and \`description\` (the text of the «What can this bot do?» block on the start screen), with their limits. \`languageCode\` (\`ru\`, \`en\` or \`default\`) picks the localization; omitted = the business language. \`default\` is the text everyone sees who has no dedicated one. The platform never changes these fields by itself. The start-screen picture or GIF and the current profile photo cannot be read; \`botfatherOnly\` says what is changed only in @BotFather. If Telegram no longer accepts the bot's token (\`BOT\_TOKEN\_REVOKED\`), the bot must be connected again. 0-cost read.
