# move\_user\_in\_chain

Move ONE customer to a step of a funnel by hand — the road the operator's tap and the CRM use, recorded with you as the actor. With a live run of the step's chain the run moves there (the old step's timer goes with it); with no run, a run starts at that step even if it is not an entry point. The step's card is delivered to the customer and mirrored to the dialog topic. It never restarts a live run: to let the customer go through again, send the entry link. Read the state first with debug\_chain\_run. \`expected\_from\_step\_seq\_num\` makes the move conditional on the step the run stands on now (if another move won, you get FAILED\_PRECONDITION). \`idempotency\_key\` is mandatory: a retry with the same key shows nothing twice. Result \`outcome\`: \`run\_started\`, \`run\_moved\`, \`already\_at\_step\` (the card was shown again; the run and its timer are unchanged).
